Gisèle Rime - Legends of Gruyères From the 13th of November 2004 until the 9th of January 2005 The 24th, 25th and 31st of December 2004 and also the 1st of January 2005: open from 10 a.m. until 4.30 p.m. Gruyères is a country rich in legends, Gisèle Rime illustrates them with a wonderful tone. Born in 1973, the artist gives a new, poetic and playful perspective to the narrations. With the arabesques of her pencil stroke, she combines a delicate talent of colourist. The “Editions Gruyériennes” offers a new version of the book “Légendes de la Gruyères” enriched by Gisèle Rime’s illustrations. Marie-Alexandre Bovet’s well known tales are refreshed by Pierre Gremaud’s narrative verve. On this occasion, the Castle of Gruyères exhibits Gisèle Rime’s original pictures and presents a full program of activities.
