Christmas at the castle - Cribs from the Louis and Miriam Polla's Collection From the 18th of November 2006 until the 14th of January 2007 Open every day from 10 a.m. until 4.30 p.m. including Christmas and New Year's days The Christmas party at the castle will have on display over seventy nativity scenes from Miriam and Louis Polla’s collection. The figures, from five continents, reflect all the sensibility of the fine connoisseurs that are the Pollas. Round the world trip high in colour and spirituality, the exhibition testifies of the importance of the art and tradition of the nativity scene during the last decades of the XXth century. Living in Lausanne, Miriam and Louis Polla are well known in the nativity scene society. Louis Polla was for over twenty years the president of the Swiss association of friends of the nativity scene, of which he is also a founder member. His enthusiasm has not failed to encourage many contacts on a national and international level. In a joined force with his wife Miriam, he has constituted a magnificent nativity scene collection.
