Swiss Castle Day 2023

Enchanting Animals at Gruyères Castle

Animals and fantasy creatures are the theme for the 8th Swiss Castle Day. On this occasion, the Gruyères Castle lets you into a whole world’s worth of legends.

First, you will hear Nørn, a surprisingly furry voice trio, traveling through time and navigating the boundary between imagination and reality. Then, artist Camille Scherrer’s interactive installation on the fortress walls will turn your fantastic shadow into an animal! Finally, our moderators will help you craft novel furry, feathery, or scaly masks; alternatively, you can create your own book of hybrid animals. Dreamers young and old are invited to spend an unforgettable day of inspiring activities!
